“The Business Card is Dead” – Some guy with an iPhone 2009

So there’s a bunch of articles out there saying that the days of the business card are numbered. Apps that let us “bump” our hands together to exchange information and the like.
I don’t know much about 4G Phone Technology but I do know that a regular business card has never crashed or picked up a Rick Astley virus.

People, as long as there’s paper, there will be books, business cards, flyers, etc. And despite what some environmentalists may tell you, there’s plenty of tress. We plant more than we cut down. Kindle is great, but there’s something to be said for being able to hold a real book in your hands as you read it. Ever smell old paper, like from a book from your Grandfather’s collection? There’s nothing quite like it.
Same goes for business cards. You can have all the technology straight out of an Arthur C. Clarke novel, but we still need a paper copy to back it all up. At PrintFirm, we’re all about paper, baby! We love paper. We love recycling paper and we love printing the best possible stuff on the best possible paper – not a Blackberry.
